=( Double negative.
lol!
I recently received an email datestamped a few minutes in the future. Gmail helpfully told me that it was sent -7 minutes ago.
Here’s another one:
bargain-fail-2
Must be the same store.
I’ve seen lotion on “sale” at 2/$5 (regularly $2.49), but I didn’t think to take a picture of it.
But of course everyone saw at one time or another the luring “discounts of up to 4o% or more.” For more language blurps see, http://www.cut-the-knot.org/language/plain.shtml
What a fun page!
(Of course, almost everything at Cut the Knot is fun.)
This is so funny. Who knew a store could use negative numbers to benefit them. Sad thing is some people might actually think that they are getting a good deal! lol
